TRADITION
Villa Winter has been with our family for more than four generations. It was built in 1907 by Ubald Nassimbeni, a prominent architect whose work can still be seen around many parts of Maribor. The grand idea for the construction of the villa came from Paula Winter, whose initials still decore the entrance to the villa. Paula chose a lily as the villa's symbol, representing beauty, purity, wisdom and faith – qualities which can still be felt in the villa today. And if that wasn't special enough: there is also a horn of plenty hanging above the stairwell, a symbol of welath and peace.
