Villa Winter is located right next to the Drava bike trail. In Slovenia this trail begins at Dravograd and spans 145 kilometres across the country and it is ideal for those seeking to spend their holidays in an active way, after snacking on some local goodies from our gift basket. Bikes are always available and a biking map of the Drava trail will be provided. From here on out there are several routes available, the choice is up to you. For example: a short route would be the »Limbuš embankment«, the town beach in the Maribor lake landscape park, where you can catch relax and recharge your batteries. A more advanced route would be the trail to Ptuj, Sloevnia’s oldest town. Whichever route you choose, at the end you are welcome at the Old Grapevine House, the home of the oldest grapeving in the world where during a special wine tasting you can uncover the secrets of premium Styrian wines.
